The Curse of Bridge Hollow Afdah. The action of the plot of the comedy horror film takes place on the eve of All Saints' Day, that is, before the celebration of Halloween. A family of three moves from Brooklyn to the small town of Bridge Hollow. And if the adult parents of a teenager are trying to find in this place the charm that is inherent in provincial towns, then their daughter looks at everything that happens with undisguised skepticism. The family arrives at a time when all the streets are filled with festive figurines and pumpkin crafts, every resident of the city considers it his duty to decorate his house and yard on Halloween and outdo the neighbors.
Sydney's classmate tells the new girl that according to legend, an evil man named Stingy Jack once lived and died in their house. In the eyes of the new tenant, this fairy tale makes the house more attractive. The main character is a wayward teenage girl Sidney, who accidentally lights a lantern and frees an ancient mystical evil that loves pranks from imprisonment. At first, all the old beliefs seem like funny fun, but after the flashing lantern, incredible miracles begin - all the surrounding Halloween decorations come to life. Zombies spring into action, pumpkins glow with their toothless grins, and horrible clowns are out to grab anyone who walks by.
Sydney's father works as a biology teacher at school and does not believe in all sorts of miracles. He believes that they are surrounded by actors dressed in carnival costumes, and this continues until he himself is at the mercy of an evil clown. Zombies have captured all the streets, witches fly on broomsticks, a giant spider breaks into their house and Sydney realizes that it is urgently necessary to get to the source of all their troubles, otherwise the whole city will die under an avalanche of any living evil spirits. The father takes up the chainsaw, and the daughter is looking for the spirit of the freaky prankster Stingy Jack.
